The Wall Street Journal: Munich police evacuate 2 train stations, citing terror threat

BERLIN — Munich police evacuated two train stations late Thursday, warning that a New Year’s Eve terrorist attack may be planned for the Bavarian capital.

There was “current evidence that a terrorist attack is planned in Munich,” the city’s police said on Twitter at 10:40 p.m. local time on Thursday.

At 11 p.m., the police said that two train stations, including the city’s main station, had been evacuated. Trains were no longer running at those stations, the police said.
