Market Extra: Poll: Are tax cuts already priced into the stock market?

Investors are paying close attention to the push by President Donald Trump and congressional Republicans for wide-ranging tax cuts, including a drop in the corporate tax rate.

A tax cut, particularly on the corporate side, would be expected to boost corporate earnings. An overall cut could provide additional stimulus to the economy, helping to deliver a further jolt to an already rip-roaring stock market SPX, -0.17%

Analysts, however, are divided over whether tax cuts are already priced into current equity valuations. And if markets are already pricing in a successful passage of a tax reform, would the failure to pass it impact the markets?
