Key Words: Hillary Clinton slams Trump voters, says America doesn’t deserve this president

This should go over well in the red states.

‘I won the places that are optimistic, diverse, dynamic, moving forward. And his whole campaign, Make America Great Again, was looking backward.’

That’s Hillary Clinton doubling down on the “basket of deplorables” comment that became a rally cry for Trump supporters during the 2016 presidential election.

Speaking to an audience in Mumbai, India, Clinton claimed that Trump ran a campaign designed to appeal to racism and misogyny.

“You know, you didn’t like black people getting rights, you don’t like women, you know, getting jobs,” she told India Today editor in chief Aroon Purie. “You don’t want, you know, to see that Indian American succeeding more than you are.”

Here’s a snippet from the interview:

Clinton also took a swipe at white women voters, whom she claims ultimately gave in to all the “ongoing pressure to vote the way that your husband, your boss, your son, whoever, believes you should.”

Bottom line: The U.S. does not “deserve” Trump, she said.
